Healthy coral reefs don’t restore themselves. It takes communities working together—with science, engineering, government, philanthropy, and local leadership—to turn proven solutions into reality.

Puakō For Reefs is an all-volunteer Hawaiʻi 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping coastal communities implement wastewater solutions that protect coral reefs for future generations.

Today, our work supports two community-led programs:

• Puakō for Reefs in South Kohala
• Kahaluʻu for Reefs in North Kona

Your donation helps educate communities, build partnerships, complete engineering and planning, secure public support, and develop the funding needed to move these complex projects from planning to implementation.
